Community Partners

The referral process is easy. Connect with us today.

At Chimo, we value the formal and informal relationships that we have with community partners. While our services are entirely voluntary and self-referral is required, we recognized that there are times when young people and their families may reach out to others to assist in making a referral to our services.

With the written consent of the young person and their family, we encourage community partners to reach out to us directly to inquire if a referral is appropriate and to provide our staff with the necessary information to connect with those interested in services.

To facilitate a connection between Chimo and someone you are supporting, please call (705) 324-3300 and press #4 to reach the Intake line.

If you are requesting to obtain or share information for a current or former client of our agency, please fax the appropriately completed consent forms with a cover letter to (705) 324-33004 or mail to 107 Lindsay St. South, Lindsay ON K9V 2M5

Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS)

In 2003, the Ministry of Children and Youth Services was created to:

  • make it easier for families to find the services to give kids the best start in life,

  • make it easier for families to access the services they need at all stages of a child's development,

  • and help youth become productive adults.

Mission:
The ministry is working with government and community partners to develop and implement policies, programs and a service system that helps give children the best possible start in life, prepare youth to become productive adults and make it easier for families to access the services they need at all stages of a child's development.
