SNAP Group
What is it?
SNAP is a group that deals with issues such as: stealing,
vandalism, breaking and entering, assaultive
behaviours, setting fires, shoplifting and trespassing.
The group is facilitated by 2 child youth workers. It
focuses on children under the age of 12 as well as
the parents for these children that attend the group.
For Who?
For children under 12 years of age.
When does it happen?
Groups run for a period of 12 weeks, childrens'
group will run in the mornings as well as the parent
groups (this may change depending on availability of
parents).
Where are the meetings?
Meetings are held at the Chimo office as well as The
City of Kawartha Lakes Boys and Girls Club. The Chimo
office is located at 2 Kent St. W., Unit #3, Lindsay.
The Boys and Girls Club is located at 107 Lindsay St.,
Lindsay.
