CELEBRATING THE HOPES AND DREAMS OF CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES

This program is helpful to families who need an in-home, hands on, "doing with" type of service for children who won't listen, talk back, are aggressive, won't do as they are asked.  When parents find themselves saying "I don't know what to do", "nothing works, this is a great program to start with.

With your permission, our workers come into your home and help parents to determine an appropriate structure for your family, improve your families communication and problem solving skills.  This means deciding what the routine of the day is, how things get done, who does them, how do you get others to do things, and what happens if they don't meet the expectations.  It is also about how parents take care of themselves so they can then meet the needs of their families.  Anger Management Groups and Parent Groups are also an option.

Services are provided in the community at times that meet the needs of the clients served.  Collaboration with collateral agencies such as school, Children's Aid Society, Probation Services, and other previously involved agencies is done with the permission of the child/youth and family.
