The Family Response Progam

Who :

Typically those families with younger children up to about age 11, who need an in-home, hands on, "doing with" type of service. Younger children who won't listen, talk back, are aggressive, won't do as asked. Parents who are saying "I don't know what to do, nothing works, I try and I try and I try", will find this program helpful.

What :

VVith your permission, our workers come into your home (or sessions may be held in the office) and help parents to determine an appropriate structure for their family, improve the family's communication and problem solving skills. This means deciding what the routine of the day is, how things get done, who does them, how do you get others to do things, and what happens if they don't meet the expectations. It is also about how parents take care of themselves so they can then meet the needs of their families. Anger Management Groups and Parent Groups are also options.
